The first step is to create a Facebook account for your business. You will then need to sign up with your business name or your company name to access the service.

Once you have been approved as a business page administrator, then you can already ask to have the entire page publicly listed in the network. You can then request to add both the Facebook business page and the Instagram personal account to the group of public profiles owned by your company. If an Instagram account is already connected to that Facebook business page, then you will just be asked to confirm that you are requesting to become page administrator of both the Facebook business page and the Instagram personal account, and finally, to select a username and password for administration purposes. The username and password you use should match your company’s and your Instagram user ID.

Once you have successfully created an account and have chosen a profile layout, then you will need to log in and go to your Account Overview in the main dashboard to access the Changes Page. From here, you will find the option to log in as the new admin or transfer ownership to your previous one.
